Speeches and Gifts!

This last week has been incredible! I'm sure reality will hit in soon and I'll feel very sad that it is all over but for now it has been an amazing week! As my form said ' perhaps I should think about leaving a school every year... then I'll get loads of presents etc'. Thank you so much to everyone who has spoiled me silly, given me cards or made me feel special this week!

This week seems to have revolved around speeches and gifts (two of my favourite things). Some of the more memorable included:

• a rather delicious homemade cake and 2 very entertaining cards (especially the one with the pop out picture for when I get lonely) from my World Challenge group.
• A very cuddly monkey which apparently must accompany me on my travels (I think it will be a challenge including it within my 20kg limit but I've always been up for a challenge!).
• A very practical and generous portable solar panel battery pack from the staff.
• A very appropriate 'drop it like you're clumsy' T-shirt.

Some of the more entertaining speeches of the week included the character sketches provided of Melanie and Ian at their wedding and VJ's/ Santa's take on management and IT!

I can't believe it is all over...
